ORANGE GOBLIN Confirmed For U.K.'s HELLACAUST Festival

ORANGE GOBLIN and LUNARMILE (the British band featuring frontwoman Toni-Marie, daughter of BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi) have been confirmed for the Hellacaust indoor metal festival at The Sanctuary in Birmingham, England on Sunday, November 5. Other bands set to appear include MITHRAS, CONQUEST OF STEEL, SEASON'S END, EXPLODER, HEADLESS CROSS, and MUSTA TALVI. Tickets are £20 in advance and go on sale at the end of July.

ORANGE GOBLIN recently announced plans to enter the studio to record a cover of "New Rose" by THE DAMNED for the upcoming "Sucking The '70s II" compilation. The band was also scheduled to record its first new material since "Thieving from the House of God" in 2004. "We are looking forward to doing two new songs with Craig Riggs (SCISSORFIGHT, ANTLER, ROADSAW, FIVE HORSE JOHNSON) at Mad Oak Studios in Boston, MA," the band wrote on their web site. "The working titles for the songs so far are 'They Come Back (Harvest of Skulls)' and 'The Ballad of Solomon Eagle'."
